So I have a little photo frame in my bedroom....I have had it for years and it is has a photo of my two eldest children from when they were really little, so it is cute.
BUT the frame is dated, it just does not fit in my room, the colour is all wrong
BUT... I am reluctant to get rid of it.... I don't know why, it jars at me everytime I look at it.... so time for a rethink!
What it needed was a simple makeover with some silver gilding that I just happened to have left over from previous jobs. If you would like a tutorial on how to do silver (or gold) leaf click
here. I just had to take the frame apart and update with the silver leaf and .....
Now.... no more clashing in my room...well, in this area anyway!!!!
It is the liitle things that count..........
I may hunt out some of my other photo frames and give them a makeover as well!
