OK...it is a bit of a mystery.... it is definitly not an Aussie thing.... though I wish it was!!!!
SMORES!!
What are they exactly???
They look amazing on Pinterest!
I keep hearing about them on blogs!
How could you not like this.... I am putting on weight just looking at it!
I am a little confused as to what they are made of....
Is this it.....chocolate, marshmallows and biscuits?
Are there other combinations?
Is it the national food of the US as pavlova is Australia's national food ;-)
This is my pavlova you can find the recipe here
Now at the center of a pav is marshmallow.... if you cook it right!
What I want to know is if you combine my pav with a biscuit base and a chocolate top
would you have a giant SMORE!!!!
That would be a truely international desert!

Smores are graham crackers topped with a Hershey chocolate candy bar and then you add a roasted marshmallow that will melt the chocolate when you put the other graham cracker on top and mush it all together. Yum!!
ReplyDeleteYup, Kim got it right. The original smore is graham crackers, Hershey chocolate bar, and marshmallow.
ReplyDeleteGo ahead and try it, its like the national campfire food here in the US.
But...you must burn the marshmallow!! Set it on fire so it gets nice and black!
ReplyDeleteS'mores are the best!!! I've had many around a campfire and recently made some from those yummy recipes from Pinterest. I made the dessert in the second picture you posted and OH.MY.GOODNESS. That's all I have to say....
ReplyDeleteS'mores are the best! Pretty much if you're going camping (or going to be around a campfire at all), you're going to end up making s'mores. The traditional s'more is made with Hershey's chocolate and roasted marshmallow sandwiched between graham crackers. If you want to try different variations I have gotten pin-happy with some s'mores recipes on my Pinterest account :) Pinterest.com/cortneyloo
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how much i LOVE smores!! Seriously one of my favorite foods!
